We want all students to have the full experience, regardless of household contribution. If you need financial assistance, please email Dr. Tuck for our confidential support process.

  • At our Back to School Movie Night we celebrate the beginning of a new school year with a family friendly show! This event takes place on the basketball court behind SRS, and families are welcome to bring chairs and blankets. Pizza is available to order as a fundraiser for 5th grade, and snacks are available for a donation. Please bring your own water.

  • Look out for monthly “take out” nights at area restaurants where H&S receives a percentage of sales.

  • Friends and neighbors gather for our annual Fall Festival in late September. There is music, food, carnival-style games, face painting, and so much more.

  • Our fall and spring book fairs provide an opportunity to students to experience a book store environment (remember those?!). Families can create Scholastic eWallets for student use. H&S also funds scholarship eWallets for Everybody Plays…with the eWallets working just the same.

  • STEAM Night offers a variety of hands-on science, technology, engineering, art and math activities. Huge thanks to Swarthmore College students for their ongoing support and participation.

  • A beloved tradition, everyone loves Bingo! This event takes place in April, typically outside near the basketball courts (if the weather is nice). Raffle tickets for BINGO Baskets are sold in advance. The 5th grade also sells pizza and baked goods during the event as a fundraiser.

  • The Swarthmore-Rutledge School Home & School Association will hold our 3rd annual Spring on Tap fundraiser on Friday, May 10th.

Proceeds from this event support programming that builds community, enriches educational opportunities for our students, and forwards the vision of our talented faculty and administration.

Annually, the SRS Home & School funds $45,000 in programming for the arts, foreign languages, math, reading, science and technology, as well as teacher start-up grants and initiative requests. Our Everybody Plays program works to ensure that all SRS students have the same opportunities and successes, regardless of household income.

Purchase your tickets for Spring on Tap by visiting the Shop.

Friends of SRS can participate in Spring on Tap’s Silent Auction from near or far.
