Third graders enjoy a month long artist in residence with Jeannine Osayande & Dunya Performing Arts Company.

The month long study of elements of various West African and Brazilian drum, dance and masquerade traditions culminates in a community performance where each classroom performs a different dance.

This integrated multicultural experience encourages students to think critically about their experience in society.
